Our practice provides services to children ages 5 and up as well as adults and geriatrics. Potential clients may self refer. Referrals are also accepted from pediatricians, neurologists, psychiatrists, primary health care physicians, judges, attorneys, social service agencies and insurance companies.
Most evalautions are conducted at the Owings Mills, Maryland office. Forensic evaluations may be conducted off site by prior arrangment such as in jails, juvenile detention centers or social service agencies in surrounding counties.
Dr. Robert Kraft, PsyD, the Clinical Director of Neuropsychology Assessment Service of Maryland, is a licensed psychologist with over 9 years post-doctoral experience. He obtained formal Post Doctoral training in Clinical Neuropsychology at Fielding University under the mentorship of Alan F. Mirsky, PhD, ABPP-CN, an internationally renowned Neuropsychologist clinician and research scientist and former Director of Clinical and Experimental Neuropsychology at the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Kraft completed his internship in Clinical Psychology at Florida State Hospital, one of the nation's largest forensic training hospitals. Post-doctoral residency was completed at the Correctional Mental Health Center at the Patuxent Insitution. Dr. Kraft is a former Chief Psychologist with the Maryland Division of Correction and former staff appointee to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, Department of Geriatric Medicine. He also completed one year of post-graduate training in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy at the Washington School of Psychiatry. Dr Kraft is licensed as a psychologist in Maryland and credentialed by the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology.
